Coast Laundromat is the only self-service laundromat on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula — centrally located in Stanmore Bay at Coast Plaza, and easy to reach from anywhere along the peninsula.
Whether you live in Gulf Harbour, Manly, Matakatia, Stanmore Bay, or anywhere in between, we’re your local option for tackling big washes, bulky items, or anything that won’t fit your machine at home.
Centrally Located on the Peninsula
We’re at Level 2 of the Coast Plaza undercover carpark, 6 Main Street, Stanmore Bay. Coast Plaza is the peninsula’s main shopping centre — with a Woolworths supermarket, pharmacy, gym, cafés, and more. Free undercover parking for up to 3 hours.
For vehicles too large for the main carpark, there’s a separate entrance off Link Crescent.
Machines for Every Load Size
We have washers and dryers to handle whatever you need — from a small everyday load to a king-size duvet:
- Small (10kg) — everyday loads and single-person washing
- Large (18kg) — family loads, sheets and towels
- X-Large (27kg) — duvets, heavy blankets and large family washes
- Dryers: 14kg, 22kg and 34kg — flexible dry time, you choose how long
- Purple Paws (18kg washer / 22kg dryer) — dedicated machines for pet bedding, dog blankets and kennel covers
A full wash and dry is done in around 60 minutes.
Open Every Day, Late Hours
Open 7am to 10pm, seven days a week. Washers and dryers close at 9:20pm — to wash and dry, start washing by 8:40pm.
Payment is fully cashless: EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, paywave, and the SpeedQueen app (site code: COAST1). No coins needed. Tax receipts available via the app.
