Laundromat Near Orewa
There’s no self-service laundromat in Orewa itself, but Coast Laundromat in Stanmore Bay is around 15 minutes up the peninsula. Open every day from 7am to 10pm, it’s a practical detour if you’ve got a big load to tackle or something your home machine can’t handle.
Getting Here from Orewa
Head north on Hibiscus Coast Highway and continue onto Whangaparaoa Road towards Stanmore Bay. Turn into Coast Plaza at 6 Main Street — we’re on Level 2 of the undercover carpark, at the bottom of the travelators.
Free undercover parking is available for up to 3 hours. There’s also a supermarket, pharmacy, café, and gym in the same complex if you want to make the trip worthwhile.

Coast Laundromat is particularly useful when you need to wash something your machine at home can’t fit:
